Creating A World Without Suicide
Vita’s Founding
Vita comes from a shared vision to end suicide in the United States.
Our journey began with a team of suicide care experts, uniting to take a proven treatment and turn it into a real solution.
The result: A patient experience that pairs telehealth sessions with a highly trained suicide care expert and the use of a behavior change support app.
Recognizing a need for wrap-around mental health services, we expanded to offer general mental health therapy and medication management.
Our Why
Suicide claims 132 lives daily, with 1.7 million attempts each year.
Deaths by suicide continue to increase year after year, and Vita Health is changing that trajectory. People experiencing suicidal thoughts or behaviors, and those around them, are in a very vulnerable and frightening period, with few resources on what to do, or how to get care. We provide the solution.

“You change one life, you change the world.”
Our clinically validated approach and tailored interventions have been proven to reduce suicide attempts by over 60% and deaths by more than 80%, not only saving lives but reducing the impact of loss on those left behind.
“Every patient that we treat provides these unsolicited, heart moving testimonials about how we have changed and saved their life. That is the fuel that brings our whole team to work every day.”
Our Journey
From its inception, Vita Health has focused on delivering acute, virtual behavioral health services specializing in suicide care.
We have grown each year, expanding our coverage and our number of providers.
By partnering with national payers, providers, employers, and leading universities, we have now expanded our reach and impact, providing timely, effective care to those in need.
